Vallivue School District responds to $78 million bond passing

A $78 million Vallivue School District bond was voted on by residents on Tuesday. The bond would allow the construction of two new elementary schools, new roofs and HVAC systems for Vallivue High School and East Canyon Elementary as well as land purchase for future schools.

The district released a response to the bond passing in a Facebook post, "The bond needed 66.67% voter approval, and the community showed up in a big way, passing the bond with 71% approval. Vallivue School District is honored that you value our teachers and children. Thank you for taking care of us. We look forward to continue serving our families to the best of our abilities for generations to come."
