G Herbo is an American rapper and songwriter. He was previously known by the stage name Lil Herb. His discography includes Ballin Like I’m Kobe (2015), Welcome to Fazoland (2014), and Humble Beast (2017). He was a member of the 2016 XXL magazine Freshman Class. G Herbo was born Herbert Randall Wright on October 8, 1995, in Chicago, Illinois. He was raised in the neighborhood of Terror Town in South Shore, Chicago.

G Herbo grew up listening to the likes of Gucci Mane, Lil Wayne and Young Jeezy. Some of his early projects include Road to Fazoland (2012) and Road 2 Riches (2013). G Herbo’s debut mixtape, Welcome to Fazoland, was released in February 2014 by Machine Entertainment Group. It featured guest appearance from Lil Bibby, Lil Reese and King Louie. The mixtape was a tribute to his fallen friend, Fazon Robinson, who was shot and killed. G Herbo and Nicki Minaj collaborated on the 2014 single “Chiraq”. He’s since worked with artists like Common, Chance The Rapper and Lil Yachty.

G Herbo’s second mixtape, Pistol P Project, was released in December 2014. It featured tracks like “Where I Reside”, “Quick and Easy” and “Jugghouse”. His other mixtapes include Ballin Like I’m Kobe (2015) and Strictly 4 My Fans (2016). G Herbo inked a deal with Cinematic Music Group in 2015. His debut studio album, Humble Beast, is scheduled for release in 2017. The album’s first single “Yeah I Know” was released in March 2016. He’s also done a collaborative project, No Limitations, with Lil Bibby.
