Russia’s iconic liberal radio station Ekho Moskvy (Echo of Moscow) has been wound up after falling afoul of Russia’s censorship of coverage of the war in Ukraine.
Ekho’s board of directors voted to liquidate the station after Russia’s state censorship watchdog ordered its website blocked for spreading "deliberately false information about the actions of Russian military personnel" as well as "information calling for extremist activity" and "violence." Startup developing sea-based launch pads
ORLANDO — A startup is proposing one solution to the increasing congestion at major launch sites: build mobile launch pads that operate at sea.
The Spaceport Company is planning to demonstrate a sea-based launch platform in May, conducting four sounding rocket launches from a modified ship in the Gulf of Mexico.
“That will help us prove out our logistical, operational and regulatory procedures,” said Tom Marotta, founder and chief executive of the company, during a panel at the SpaceCom conference Feb.

Vallivue School District responds to $78 million bond passing
CALDWELL, Idaho (CBS2) — A $78 million Vallivue School District bond was voted on by residents on Tuesday. The bond would allow the construction of two new elementary schools, new roofs and HVAC systems for Vallivue High School and East Canyon Elementary as well as land purchase for future schools.
The district released a response to the bond passing in a Facebook post, "The bond needed 66.67% voter approval, and the community showed up in a big way, passing the bond with 71% approval.
